Job Description

This Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of  production equipment, ensuring consistent, high-quality material output. This role supports construction projects by managing batching, mixing, and delivery processes while maintaining equipment, inventory, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor plant systems, including batching, mixing, and pumping equipment

  • Produce material in accordance with project specifications, mix designs, and quality standards

  • Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment

  • Adjust mix designs and production parameters based on job requirements and site conditions

  • Monitor raw material inventory  and report shortages

  • Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and quality control documentation

  • Troubleshoot mechanical or process issues and report major repairs as needed

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies, including housekeeping and dust control

  • Assist with plant setup, teardown, and relocation when required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs

  • Ability to read and follow mix designs, production schedules, and safety procedures

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required

  • Must comply with OSHA regulations and company safety programs

  • Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
