About this role

Are you a seasoned mission systems operator looking for a meaningful work environment that supports and protects heroes? Join our team! As a Senior Mission Systems Operator (MSO)/Airborne Mission Commander (AMC), you will be using your skills and expertise to support our overseas operational missions using Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles. You'll be responsible for operating our airborne sensor equipment, primarily RADAR and MX-15 technologies, to acquire, track, and monitor airborne, ground, and/or maritime objects of interest in routine and dynamic target area searches and performing pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight duties.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
    • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience, including military training, may be considered in lieu of required education
  • TS clearance level - Working knowledge of MX-15 HDI sensor, and basic menu navigation

  • Working knowledge of Orion, TORCH or similar MSO/ASO moving map software

  • Must be able to multi-task - Must be able to work with limited directions -

  • Working knowledge of mIRC

  • Can type at least 30 words per minute -

  • Valid US passport

  • ability to get FAA Class 3 physical

  • 60/60 (75/45) rotation schedule, dependent on need.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Basic understanding of current military / ISR TTPs

  • Background in the Aerospace Defense Industry, DoD or US Military

  • Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Previously worked in an austere environment

  • Experience with computer networking

  • Familiarity with CRM and Airmanship

  • 1000 hours of flight time knowledge of ARC-231, PRC 117G, BLOS, & Sigint suites

  • Exposure to Small Secure Datalink (SSDL) radios

  • Basic understanding of RADAR Theory and MX15HDi camera technology
