About this role

You will support tracking of assigned information that will assist the business in making educated risk transfer vs retention decisions. As a Risk Management Analyst I, you will report to the manager of Insurance & Risk, Corporate Safety, and Business Operations with a broad range of responsibilities. You will also provide analysis and reporting to facilitate the management of the Company’s insurance programs, and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

This person will support the Senior Director of Insurance & Risk Management, Risk Managers, and colleagues in administrative functions while they learn the tasks of the department. This includes calendar management, travel plans, assistance with documentation creation and preparation, travel arrangements, scheduling and escorting visitors, staff charts, presentation assistance, and other general organization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and typically 0 - 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Foundational understanding of Risk Management processes with respect to coverage placement, contract review, insurance compliance, claims management, insurance recovery, and other facets related to protection of company assets.

  • Facilitation skills that address complex risks and Business stakeholder concerns

  • The ability to independently and collaboratively address risks and Business stakeholder concerns

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete discretion

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency

  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Technology driven

  • Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Professional certification(s) in risk or insurance such as CRM, ARM, CPCU, RIMS-CRMP

  • Familiarity with accounting and insurance principles

Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
