As a part of the Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Supervisor role will empower you to support the maintenance manager to optimize maintenance activities mechanically and/or electrically to achieve the service level and the efficiency required and ensure all the activities are performed in a safe way according Sibelco’s policy, guidelines, and values.
Your Impact in This Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Execute maintenance activities on the site by continuously communicating with production management to ensure maintenance activities are performed in a timely manner and that the production downtime is limited to a minimum.
- Perform activities to fulfil the set of predefined KPI’s related to quality and quantity.
- Support the technicians and/or electricians on the site with difficult activities and/or problems.
- Plan sufficient employees and arrange back-up in case of absence to ensure the scheduled maintenance activities can be met.
- Advise the technology department on the setup and execution of new processes and technologies.
- Maintain the spare part strategy for all maintenance related stock and manage the spare part warehouse.
What You Bring to the Table
- Technical degree or equivalent by experience.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance in an industrial or mining setting.
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
