The Housekeeping Attendant ensures the maintenance and quality of hygiene and sanitation in the establishment by using adequate work techniques and appropriate products and tools. He is to ensure the life of the various types of surface coatings and to prevent deterioration of the furnishings. He must also properly maintain the equipment and accessories necessary for his work. The attendant must also be able to adapt his work to unforeseen needs and circumstances.
