Job Overview

The Driver coordinates and transports patients, staff and families to various destinations in a safe and professional manner.  This position is 8 hours, Monday - Friday, no weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Transport Patient and Families

•Coordinates and transports patients and families to various destinations in a safe and professional manner.•Patients are returned without undue delay.

 

Mechanical Abilities•Maintains vehicles preventive maintenance logs.•Keeps vehicles clean and serviced.

•Maintains registration of all vehicles and schedules repairs

 

Record Keeping•Ensures vehicles are inspected/serviced on a quarterly basis.•Maintains vehicles State Inspection Certificates.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required

State of Texas driver license

Annual vision screen corrected to 20/40 minimum

Annual check of driver license MVR with clear record

BLS certification within 30 days

 

Preferred

High School diploma
