YOUR NEXT ROLE : Talent Acquisition Manager

 

Supporting our teams across Retail and Corporate, the Talent Acquisition Manager is exceptionally placed to attract inspire and hire the next generation of talent as well as our overall recruitment strategy for Shiseido UK & Ireland.  Supporting a population of +400 employees, reporting into the HR Director this role is a position of trust, one which promotes internal talent, setting our talent strategy and overseeing all recruitment activities. 

 

This is a permanent position, based in our fabulous UK Head office in London where we centralise our focus on supporting our business, creating Beauty innovations for a better world. 

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, every day will be diverse. As the authority on Talent Acquisition we rely on you to manage our end to end recruitment process for corporate teams, as well as supporting with retail recruitment. You will own our employer value proposition delivering the talent acquisition strategy.

 

This role will:

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle across all functions, ensuring timely and high quality hiring outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing expert guidance on role scoping, assessment methods, and selection decisions.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are inclusive, fair, and compliant with employment legislation.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies, job boards, and assessment providers.
  • Develop and deliver a proactive talent acquisition strategy aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s employer brand through targeted campaigns, social media presence, and compelling recruitment content.
  • Ensure a positive, engaging, and consistent candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Represent the organisation at careers events, networking forums, and industry engagements, actively source partnerships to enhance our employer brand
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs, skills gaps, and future capability requirements.
  • Use recruitment analytics to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
  • Produce regular dashboards and insights for leadership teams.
  • Review policies, internal processes and paperwork and recruitment insights for best practice
  • Monitor recruitment spend and ensure costeffective hiring practices.
  • Use market insights, data, and trends to inform hiring decisions and strategic planning.
  • Embed inclusive hiring practices and support initiatives that broaden access to underrepresented talent.
  • Ensure recruitment processes reflect organisational values and commitments.

 

 

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Experienced with HR salary surveys, to interpret salary trends and data
  • Proficient demonstrable advanced Excel skills
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, including managing endtoend recruitment across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong stakeholdermanagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, assessment methods, and recruitment best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Datadriven mindset with experience using recruitment metrics and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and inclusive hiring practices.
  • A strong commercial acumen, with the ability to broker relationships for contract negotiations
  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Employee first mentality, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience in employer branding or recruitment marketing.
  • Background in a fastpaced, highvolume, or specialist recruitment environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and talent intelligence tools.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

After the pre-screen, your application will be reviewed by the hiring manager. Successful applicants will be invited to at least 1 interview. Preferably, we would like to meet you in person and give you the opportunity to test your commute as well as see your potential place of work! In some cases, we may invite you to an assessment centre or to present your ideas in the form of a business presentation.
