We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Fragrance Marketing Team:
The Fragrances marketing team is the bridge between the Brand-holder (Shiseido Paris HQ) and all cross-functional teams at Shiseido Americas Corporation who bring to life all the strategies and activations programmed for the US Local Market. We manage three brands under the Shiseido Fragrance division: Narciso Rodriguez, Issey Miyake & Tory Burch, where the intern has the opportunity to gain knowledge of the beauty industry and explore areas of interest within the fragrance category.
What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside your manager to build your acumen in selected functions and integrate with your team
- Attend team meetings, assist with departmental tasks and network within the business
- Assist with SKU Creation + Maintenance, and managing Point of Sale Materials Inventory
- Participate in Events planning + execution
- Conduct Industry Competitive Research and Launch Sales Reporting
- Participate in professional development, speaker series, and additional social programming events specifically designed for the summer interns
- Create and present a project to senior leadership generated around true business opportunity
Requirements:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for fragrance, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
