The internship program will run from May through August 2026.
OVERVIEW
Partner with the Operations Efficiency team to identify and implement improvements that enhance store-level workflows and employee experiences. Support both field and office operations performing hands-on fieldwork with analytical problem-solving, requiring regular time in Sheetz stores and the Claysburg, PA office, in approximately a 50/50 distribution. Conduct time studies, analyze operational data, and help develop strategies that drive smarter, faster, and more efficient operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
2. Conduct time and motion studies in Sheetz stores to evaluate workflows and labor models.
3. Perform root cause analysis to address process inefficiencies.
4. Assist in documenting processes and procedures for store operations.
5. Support Operations projects by developing and recommending optimization strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience
• No experience required
• Previous exposure utilizing Microsoft Office, including Excel to perform data analysis preferred.
• Previous experience with SQL or Tableau for data visualization is preferred.
