A Territory Sales Manager works to maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in their geographical area. They accomplish this through the development of great relationships with their specialty retail flooring dealer customers based on product knowledge, exceptional service, trust and integrity. Business growth is accomplished through implementing major market programs, services, and sample placement. </span><span>This position covers the interior of British Columbia and its Northern regions</span><span>. Ideal home office based in </span><span>Kelowna, BC. </span></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><p>Sales & Relationship Building</p><p>• Daily sales calls on existing customers with special emphasis on Residential brands <span>Shaw Floors Soft Surfaces & Shaw Floors Hard Surfaces </span>flooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products.</p><p> • Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads provided by corporate reports.</p><p> • Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs.</p><p>Territory Growth & Market Execution</p><p>• Continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing awareness of market trends.</p><p>• Implement major market programs and sample placement strategies.</p><p>Operational Excellence</p><p>• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales, goals, competitive conditions, and product needs.</p><p>• Analyze sales statistics by reviewing reports specific to territory to aid in formulating goals and to assist dealers in promoting sales.</p><p>• Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.</p><p>• Analyze and control travel and entertainment expenditures as well as sample budget to conform to budgetary requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>High School Diploma/GED and at least </span><span>1 year of sales experience</span><span>.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to communicate with a diverse group of customers (via email, phone, virtual video, and in person).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures; ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Company Vehicle provided.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reside within the territory (preferred Kelowna, BC) and the ability to travel 3-4 days a week in territory. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>2+ years of retail sales experience in flooring, building products, or home décor, and B2B.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience managing a territory with multiple accounts and driving growth through dealer relationships.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with specialty retail and/or interior design trade.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven ability to analyze sales data and execute strategic account plans.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Build Trusting Relationships </span></p></li><li><p><span>Influence Others </span></p></li><li><p><span>Execute Action Plan </span></p></li><li><p><span>Deliver Compelling Communication </span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive Results</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Shaw Industries Group, Inc. requires the Residential Territory Managers to operate and maintain a specific vehicle while conducting business due to the size and volume of flooring samples.
