Visit our website and check out the brand behind the nation’s top turf fields.</div></div></div><div></div><div></div><div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li><div>Provide and ensure excellence in Leadership to maintain the Bainbridge facility as the industry leader in providing low-cost, high-quality turf while utilizing newly engineered raw materials and extrusion technologies.</div></li><li><div>Assure internal partner relationships are positively maintained through open communication and that customer satisfaction needs are met with on-time and quality products.</div></li><li><div>Oversee and manage facility P&L, operational expenditures/budget, and strategic planning activities.</div></li><li><div>Maintain a thorough understanding of Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement manufacturing techniques and employ these to consistently upgrade facility standards, practices, products, and more.</div></li><li><div>Create an environment that fosters teamwork, innovation and relentless pursuit of improvement.</div></li><li><div>Ensure a facility atmosphere that provides associates opportunity for advancement and support succession planning.</div></li><li><div>Represent Shaw Industries in the local community and promote organizational goodwill.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b>Competencies:</b></div><ul><li><div>Demonstrate Strategic Influence</div></li><li><div>Drive Results</div></li><li><div>Lead Change</div></li><li><div>Build Successful Teams</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li><div>Bachelor’s Degree; engineering degree preferred.</div></li><li><div>5 + years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.</div></li><li><div>Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b>Preferred:</b></div><ul><li><div>Knowledge of Polymerization, Extrusion, and Color Compounding (Textiles)</div></li><li><div>Lean Six Sigma certification</div></li><li>Turf Manufacturing knowledge</li></ul><p></p><div></div><div>Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, and is a global leader in delivering carpet, hardwood, tile & stone, laminate, synthetic turf, and other specialty products to residential and commercial markets worldwide.
