The role partners with Maintenance and Operations teams to develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). This position provides advanced support for electrical and automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and VFDs. It also supports system commissioning,<span> </span></span><span>modifies</span><span><span> </span>control logic, and drives root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance across the plant.</span></span><span> </span></p></div><div><p><b><span>Essential Duties:</span></b><span> </span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span><span>Develop and<span> </span></span><span>maintain</span><span><span> </span>Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) for mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead maintenance of the plant electrical distribution system, including circuit breaker testing, transformer records and testing, switchgear maintenance, infrared inspections, and ultrasonic testing.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Manage and execute the<span> </span></span><span>plant Arc Flash</span><span><span> </span>program to ensure compliance with safety standards.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex electrical and instrumentation issues, supporting technicians and operations personnel.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop,<span> </span></span><span>optimize</span><span>, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and sensor systems.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Assist</span><span><span> </span>in the implementation and integration of new electrical and automation technologies to improve safety, quality, and equipment reliability.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Maintain<span> </span></span><span>accurate</span><span><span> </span>documentation of electrical and control systems, including updating drawings, PM records, and equipment history.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Coordinate procurement and inventory management of critical electrical and automation spare parts, including vendor relations and contractor coordination for repairs and maintenance.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support capital and expense projects as assigned, including planning, specification, and commissioning of electrical and control system upgrades.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Participate actively in weekly reliability and maintenance meetings, collaborating with electricians, maintenance planners, and operations.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Assist</span><span><span> </span>in training and mentoring maintenance technicians on electrical and<span> </span></span><span>controls</span><span><span> </span>troubleshooting and safe work practices.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) audits and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Work closely with<span> </span></span><span>Environmental, Health, & Safey</span><span><span> </span>(</span><span>EH&S</span><span>) teams to investigate and implement improvements in personal protective equipment (PPE) and plant safety programs.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support the plant’s Safety Management System (SMS) and promote continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Serve on cross-functional teams focused on quality, safety, and maintenance excellence.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance or Plant Engineering leadership.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support plant DCS systems in production department to ensure process control is<span> </span></span><span>optimized</span><span><span> </span>and reliable</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Manage the site nuclear devices, stay<span> </span></span><span>up-to-</span><span>date</span><span><span> </span>on required training and certifications, and support EH&S department with
