Finishing Lead 

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for assisting the supervisor in the daily operation of the shift. 

I. Essential Duties: 

❑ Maintain a working knowledge of all jobs in the coater department in order to relieve, replace or assist in employee absences 

❑ Provide instructions/directions/guidance to all line personnel 

❑ Perform Weight Checks 

❑ Fill in for supervisor when needed 

II. Non-Essential Duties:

III. Education: 

❑ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience 

IV. Experience: 

V. Physical Requirements: 

❑ Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, stoop, and climb stairs 

❑ Must participate in group stretching prior to shift 

❑ May be required to lift 70 lbs. 

VI. Other Requirements: 

❑ Must be applicable to all JHA’s 

VII. Training Requirements: 

❑ Power Industrial Truck (PIT) 

VIII. Tools, Equipment & Material Requirements: 

❑ Cutting glove 

❑ Turkey Knife 

❑ Use appropriate tools for job depending which operator is being relieved for breaks or absence 

IX. Safety & Security Requirements: 

❑ This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems, and potential problems, encountered while performing the job 

❑ This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output and their co-worker 

X. Certifications / Licenses: 

❑ Valid Hyster/Lift Truck
