This role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.</p> <h3>What You'll Do:</h3> <ul> <li>Perform periodic reviews of business activities as mandated by the Sezzle Compliance Management System and Compliance Monitoring Program</li> <li>Contribute to&nbsp; a compliance audit and&nbsp; monitoring team&nbsp; completing scheduled activities according to scheduled deadlines</li> <li>Perform compliance control testing, transactional reviews, and monitoring activities in alignment with the established testing plan.</li> <li>&nbsp;Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations resulting from the monitoring reviews</li> <li>Build and maintain strong working relationships with compliance, business and technology stakeholders,.</li> <li>Escalate significant compliance issues to management and provide actionable insights.</li> <li>Demonstrate sound ethical judgment and promote transparency in identifying, managing,&nbsp; and reporting control issues.</li> <li>Assist in gathering and delivering relevant information for internal and external regulatory reviews, examinations or other supervisory events&nbsp;</li> <li>Support additional compliance-related initiatives and projects as assigned.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, laws, and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Experience in auditing or monitoring activities, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and reporting.</li> <li>Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.</li> <li>Analytical thinker with sound decision-making capabilities and a proactive mindset.</li> <li>Ability to recommend practical solutions to mitigate risk and enhance controls.</li> <li>Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration, information systems, or technology related degree&nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in consumer finance preferred.</li> <li>Prior experience in compliance testing, internal/external audit, quality control, or risk management is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>You have relentlessly high standards</strong> - many people may think your standards are unreasonably high.
