EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Trade Effluent & Forecasting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the organisation maintains accurate market data, delivers robust forecasting, and meets all regulatory and financial obligations related to trade effluent activity.

The role provides high‑quality analytical insight and operational assurance, ensuring that trade effluent performance, forecasting accuracy, and market compliance directly support organisational performance, financial stability, and positive customer outcomes.

Some of the key accountabilities include:-

  • Ensure all trade effluent meter reads are accurate, validated, and correctly entered in the market systems.
  • Work proactively with metering teams to resolve data discrepancies, validate site configurations, and ensure all TE meter assets and consumption data meet market standards.
  • Monitor data quality trends, identify root causes of inaccuracies, and drive corrective and preventative actions.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of robust forecasting models for trade effluent volumes, ensuring alignment with financial expectations and business planning cycles.
  • Ensure that forecasted volumes submitted to the market accurately reflect operational reality and financial assumptions.
  • Analyse variances between forecast, actual performance, and financial models, providing insight and recommendations.
