LET’S TELL YOU MORE

Its an exciting time within Technology at Severn Trent.  We are revolutionising the way we interact with our stakeholders and the new Technology Experience Manager role is a key enabler in this!

In this role you will be ensuring technology solutions align with business needs and deliver exceptional service experiences. Reporting to the Tech Experience Lead, you will play a vital role in bridging IT and business functions, driving service performance, managing demand, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives. This position is central to empowering colleagues through technology and delivering measurable business outcomes.

In this role you’ll build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate service performance with clarity, and co-create roadmaps that enhance colleague experience and technology performance. Additionally, you’ll manage new technology demand through prioritisation processes, support change initiatives, and champion user feedback to inform future enhancements. By tracking service metrics and identifying opportunities for innovation, you’ll help shape the IT roadmap and ensure technology delivers the best possible outcomes for Severn Trent.

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre head Office in Coventry and work within our Colleague Experience team with a dedicated team of 8 colleagues. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday.

HOW WE WORK

You'll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. Our employee engagement scores are among the highest globally in energy and utilities. That’s why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring. So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’ll be looking for you to be an excellent communicator with fantastic stakeholder engagement skills as you will need to have the ability to influence at senior Management levels.

Being collaborative, solution oriented and proactive, will be a significant advantage, as this mindset enables you to work effectively with both your immediate team and the wider business areas you support.

A good knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, coupled with proven experience in technology support functions and a clear understanding of how a Technology department operates, would set you apart.

Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too.  We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
