We have an opportunity available for you to join the Office of CIO as a Planning & Assurance Analyst.

 

In this role, you’ll help the technology department be well planned and in control by carrying out planning and assurance services and activities. You’ll proactively plan and assure adherence to policies, standards and processes, provide good quality reporting, track performance, and drive the improvements needed.

 

Some of the key accountabilities outlined below.

 

  • Carrying out assurance with all teams across the department
  • Producing assurance reports and analysis of findings
  • Tracking next steps to ensure the continuous improvement of the department
  • Governance reporting and analysis, and production of management updates
  • Administration support for governance meetings
  • Supporting on Business Continuity planning and testing
  • Administration of Process and Standards library

 

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre head office in Coventry.  You’ll work within our dedicated Planning & Assurance team of 12. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a weekworking Monday to Friday.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

You’ll join the team with experience of working in a technology department, alongside experience of being in a similar role where you have provided administration and analysis support.

 

It’s expected that you’ll have awareness of planning & assurance and the benefits, as well as competence in the use of MS Office products and SharePoint administration & to be successful, you’ll need an understanding of governance and assurance, experience in creating reports and presentations. A good appreciation of internal customer service and managing expectations of multiple stakeholders.

 

It would also be highly beneficial if you have knowledge of Service Management and Risk Management toolsets as well as having excellent communication, time management, prioritisation and organisation skills, with fantastic attention to detail.
