Overview
Direct Support Professional (DSP)Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation
Position Summary:Provide direct support to individuals served, assisting with personal care activities, fostering independence, and contributing to their overall well-being in a safe and engaging environment.
Pay: $23.00/hr

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting social and communication skills.
- Support community engagement and facilitate participation in activities outside the facility.
- Administer medications, follow care plans, and accompany individuals to appointments.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment and promote well-being with individualized care.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED/HiSET required.
- Certification: Standard driver’s license (Class C or D); Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Activity planning and recreational skills.
- Health and safety protocols to ensure participant well-being.
- Assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility.
- Team collaboration and strong communication skills.
- Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to address minor emergencies.
