About the Role
Service Stream are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our well-established Group’s Assets team as the Asset Coordinator. You will join a high-performing, welcoming team, based at our modern Head Office, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light. The role has a key focus is on safety, service delivery, and the effective operation the Group’s assets.
This is an 6-month fixed-term role.
About the role:
- Asset acquisition. Assist the Business in the selection of assets, facilitate lease / purchase quotes and approvals in accordance with Delegations of Authority.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specification are configured correctly meeting fit for purpose requirements of the business, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Managing asset utilisation and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
- The provision of repairs and maintenance, fuel card, toll, telematics, infringements, breakdown, and accident management services.
- Maintain asset, and other applicable databases, to ensure accurate record, cost allocation, etc… of assets.
- Facilitate asset maintenance procedures to ensure ongoing asset fitness for intended purpose, compliance with manufacturer’s / regulatory specifications and OHS guidelines.
- Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets in accordance with Delegations of Authority with the objective of obtaining the best possible financial return for the Company.
- Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
- Ensure the physical protection, security, and control of all assets
About you:
- Demonstrated Asset management and contract management experience
- Experience in leasing and asset ownership management
- Experience in financial transactions and controls
- Stakeholder engagement & management skills, both internally and external
- Knowledge of Asset related compliance and governance requirements/guidelines
- Demonstrated experience with Light, Heavy Commercial & Plant & Equipment assets
- General knowledge of asset insurance management and claims processes
