Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking a Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join a well-established, collaborative team delivering high-quality care to a diverse and growing patient population. This opportunity offers the ability to practice across the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care medicine within a well-supported, collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, innovation, and physician well-being.
Position Highlights
Serve a diverse patient population– Clinic currently booking 6 months out
Manageable Workload – Average 14 patients/day
Advanced Procedural Capabilities including:
Robotically assisted bronchoscopy
Robotically assisted thoracic surgery
Diagnostic EBUS
Collaborative Team Environment – Join an established group of 5 experienced physicians
Strong Critical Care Support – 24/7 critical care coverage with tele ICU and in-house critical care trained APP support, including weekends
Balanced Schedule – Combination of inpatient critical care and outpatient pulmonology allows for flexibility and work‑life balance
Telehealth Integration – Extend reach and patient convenience with virtual visits
