Sentara Princess Anne in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Echocardiographer
Shift: Fulltime - 8 hour shifts starting at 8am. Call Required.
Position Overview:
Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree - CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes
License and Certifications:
Basic Life Support Required
Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
Other:
At least 3 years of echocardiographer experience

What you'll do
- The Echocardiographer will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Doppler ultrasounds. They will work in various settings including the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, and ICU, as well as at the bedside with patients.
