Sensient is growing. We are looking for a Quality Control Micro Intern to join our team and play a role providing QC Micro support for the QC Micro Color Group team. The QC Micro intern will support the area of special projects regarding Environmental Monitoring. 

What You’ll do: 

• Support the micro group by performing a special project designed to update laboratory procedures.

• Learn food micro skills in a professional environment. Gain exposure to microbiological techniques in an industrial manufacturing setting.

• Work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.

• Deliver effective and accurate results and meet deadlines.

• Maintain confidential and sensitive information.

 What You’ll bring:

• Previous micro internship experience is preferred but not required. 

• Must be at a minimum status of a junior level and working toward a four-year degree program in Biology related degree with a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA is required.

• Good professional appearance and demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and web browsers. Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication.

• Ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.

• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with employees across all levels. Good judgment and decision-making skills.
