ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service of food and beverage to all our guests.
2. Report to work well-groomed in full uniform and on time.
3. Be hospitable, friendly, and polite with all guests, co-workers, and management using positive body language.
4. Be familiar with all check and cashing procedures to include POS system.
5. Maintain records on established time sheets.
6. Be knowledgeable of Seneca Gaming Corporation’s history, map of the property, location of restrooms and telephones, and hours of operation of stores and restaurants and be able to efficiently handle guest’s inquiries.
7. Take comp and VIP reservations. Answer telephone calls appropriately according to procedure, answer all inquiries and report any and all compliments or problems to shift manager.
8. Promote positive customer relations at all times.
9. Clean and organize all host areas ongoing as needed.
10. Review all server stations and shifts upon start of work shift.
11. Maintain full knowledge of menu, wine lists, and daily specials.
12. Have a consistent awareness of all activities occurring in each section. Visibly monitor service and performance of each server.
13. Greet all guests within five (5) seconds in a friendly and courteous manner using positive body language.
14. Properly clear and reset tables according to host manual.
15. Complete designated opening and closing side work daily and check with manager or shift manager before leaving.
16. Perform any duties assigned by the manager or shift manager.
17. Assist all other employees in performing their duties whenever required.
18. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
19. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
20. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
21. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
22. Attend all necessary meetings.
23. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
SECONDARY DUTIES:
1. Train all associates in the restaurants to perform their job duties to meet or exceed performance objectives for their position; provide tools and supplies needed.
2. Evaluate and directs personnel, provide disciplinary action when needed.
3. Ensure that all products served meet the established specifications and standards.
4. Participate in weekly management meeting.
5. Maintain constant control of situations in the restaurant including handling guest complaints, handling employee complaints, and other problems that are encountered.
6. Report any incidents to appropriate Supervisors.
7. Assure prompt, professional service to all guests.
8. Responsible for approaching tables and speaking with guests to obtain feedback about dining experience.
9. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, filing, personnel maintenance and HR issues.
10. Advise the Restaurant Room Manager and/or the Restaurants Manager of daily problems and needs; utilize all available resources to maximize profits.
11. Complete daily reports including Daily Manager Report and any Incident Reports.
12. Prepare necessary paperwork, ordering of supplies and equipment needed for an efficient customer oriented operation.
13. Communicate regularly with associates and keep them informed on all Casino Activities and events. Act as a liaison between management and associates.
14. Ensure that staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.
15. Share accountability for achieving cost goals, labor and expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
2. High school diploma or equivalency required.
3. Minimum two (2) years food and beverage supervisory experience.
4. Must have general knowledge of all phases of full service dining.
5. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, team building and problem solving skills required.
6. Must be computer literate, including a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications as well as restaurant automated systems.

1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
3. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud. Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.

2. Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, use fingers/hands for lifting and grasping.
3. Must be able to lift and carry trays up to forty (40) pounds.

6. Medium work. Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to fifty (50) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to twenty (20) pounds of force constantly to move objects.
7. Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
8. Subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Subject to atmospheric conditions.
9. Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community if all situations.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
