Responsibilities

  • The Executive Casino Host is responsible for:
  • Insuring an excellent guest experience for players while on site
  • Developing relationships with VIP casino patrons to ensure incremental visits
  •  Managing discriminatory comps based on player account value
  • Meeting weekly outreach benchmark goals
  •  Increasing theoretical  revenues to coded maintenance group
  • The incumbent will maintain relationships and market targeted customers through personal contact in order to generate incremental revenue. 
  • The Casino Host will oversee, solicit and identify new gaming guests for the Player’s Club program. 
  • The incumbent will meet and greet players on the casino floor, at special events and promotions. 
  • The Casino Host will be responsible for the retention of existing guests and will assist in special services related to top tier players.
  • The candidate must possess a positive attitude, exceptional guest service skills, outstanding phone etiquette, excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task and make quick decisions in a stressful environment.
  • The candidate must also be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours.  Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.  Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment.  Must be able to lift 30 pounds and able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis

  • Skill in developing, leading and maintaining guest relations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management and peers.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to understand questions and instructions from management.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other internal guests at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CMP
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Ability to apply reasoning to variety of situations.
  • Ability to write effective letters and emails.
  • Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.
  • Must be able to master the property's player tracking and reservation systems.
  •  

EXPERIENCE: One to three years in guest-service/relations, with experience in the casino industry preferred. Ability to speak a second language preferred. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: As Required

 

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, team member is regularly required to stand, walk, and demonstrate high-mobility for a majority of the shift.
  • Will also regularly: speak and listen to internal and external customer directions or orders in an atmosphere of varying background noise; transit across surfaces that may alternate between carpeted and hard surfaces; walk through slippery surfaces and/or sloping floors or stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel small objects such paper or cloth; and reach with hands and arms overhead and from side to side.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception. Will often transit between brightly lit and dimly lit areas, including flashing lights and computer or TV screens.
  • Position requires bending, lifting and carrying supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds, will be required to use, push and pull wheeled hand-carts or other equipment weighing in excess of 100 lbs.
  • Will regularly bend, stoop, kneel, and twist at the waist. May occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids, pet or service animals, and strong odors.
  • Will regularly be exposed to tobacco and other second hand smoke.
  • May occasionally use de-escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict.
  • Will be required to assist in customer evacuation in case of emergency.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
