Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager's responsibilities include maintaining accurate supplier records, monitoring organizational compliance with internal controls, processing timely payments to vendors, and training staff members. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will be focused on optimizing department processes and building relationships with others within and outside of the business. The highlighted skill sets that will be reviewed in this role include being knowledgeable of best practices, analytical and influential leadership and communication.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
Implement and manage SAP PO module for all legal entities.
Manage JPMC corporate card programs for all companies.
Manage SAP Concur expense reimbursement applications.
Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
Compile, analyze, and report financial information to management and government agencies.
Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives.
Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Adhere to all company internal control policies and procedures associated with Accounts Payable function.
Build and maintain relationships with employees, vendors, and commercial banks.
Hire, train, and evaluate accounts payable staff members.
Other job-related duties, as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance required.
5+ years of accounting, management, accounts payable procedures or similar experience required.
Accounting system implementation experience preferred.
SAP software experience or other business software of similar complexity required.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of Microsoft Office; proficient experience with Excel.
Minimum Requirements
Must successfully complete a credit and background check.
Must have proof of legal authorization to work in USA.
Physical Requirements
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and demonstrate manual dexterity while performing job duties.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, see, and hear; use hands to handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time, paying attention to detail.
Requires constant operation of standard office machines, including computer.
Requires frequent ability to move freely about the office building.
Environment
Environment involved is regularly inside the office.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
