Billing Representative

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To oversee monthly close process; to compile and analyze financial and related contract data; and to prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

  • Coordinates and completes monthly close ensuring timely financial statement preparation and issuance.
  • Applies client contract terms to revenue recognition.
  • Performs complex client audits and reporting.
  • Supports month-end accounting processes; prepares month-end financial entries to general ledger system; performs month-end variance review; and provides monthly forecast variance explanations.
  • Defines, prepares, reviews and analyzes monthly reports.
  • Prepares audit lead schedules for outside audit firms.


QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred. Major in accounting field preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification strongly preferred. Great Plains knowledge a plus. Six (6) years of accounting and financial analysis Experience or equivalent combination of education and Experience required.
