Residential Security Officer
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Position Summary:
The Residential Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff within a luxury residential property. This role requires prior residential or high-end security experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a professional, welcoming presence while enforcing building policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control access to the building, verifying resident and visitor credentials
- Enforce guest access and visitor management policies in accordance with residential protocols
- Conduct patrols of common areas and building perimeters
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and security alarms
- Respond professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and service requests
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with management and the Operations Desk
Requirements:
- Valid NYS Security Guard License – Preferred
- At least 1 year of residential or luxury security experience – Required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain alert, dependable, and responsive
