We are searching for an experienced Hospitality Security Officer to join our Hospitality Team. Our team hosts thousands of visitors and private events annually at one of Downtown Seattle's most iconic landmarks. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times.

What Your Day May Look Like

  • Greet, orient, and assist visitors and community members and clients. 
  • Escort guests on site and conduct patrols throughout the client premises.
  • Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on events and daily operations.
  • Secure entrances / exits.
  • Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
  • Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
  • Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
  • 2+ years professional experience in customer service and security required.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
  • Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation measures.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
