Accounts Receivable & Payable Analyst

Job Summary
We are looking for talent! As the Accounts Receivable & Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for the management and collection of accounts receivable. This role reports directly to the SU-Controller located in Ramos Arizpe. Mainly you will be ensuring timely payment of customers, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.
Job Responsibilities
1.-Ensure that the daily USD exchange rate is loaded on all the SECO systems.
2.-Identify and apply on MRP all the deposits from customers. Also ensure that the payment receipt document is created and sent it to the customer.
3.-Clear and register all the intercompany invoices on SIH system.
4.-Manually load the invoices on Customer portals. (Currently we have 48 customer portals. We have an average of 450 monthly invoices that are loaded on these portals each month).
5.- Ensure that the customer invoice reception process is working properly. Coordinate meetings with the Sales and Customer service supervisors to follow up issues on this process.
6.- Responsible for sending Weekly statements to all our customers. Follow up in case of discrepancies.
7.- Responsible to send by-weekly payment reminder to all the customer with past due invoices.
8.- Responsible for weekly Hold list creation and follow up. This includes to coordinate follow up meetings with the sales team. Also includes to block / unblock customers invoices on MRP system according to this hold list.
9.- Responsible to create Credit Notes for customers.
10.- Responsible to calculate the bad debt provision each month.
11.- Responsible to assist customer service on all the invoice cancelations and reinvoicing processes.
12.- Responsible for new Customer creation on MRP system according to Sandvik and TAX regulation policies.
13.- Assist on the internal control process as an owner and a tester.
14.- Assist on the PU invoicing when needed (For example on SCRAP invoicing process)
16.- Assist on the AP process as a payment approver.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in AR/AP.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and any MPR.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
• Results-oriented with strong values, communication and teamwork skills.
