SEASONAL POSITION

What you get to do:

  • Supervise and develop an assistant business unit supervisor and the grounds maintenance team. Primary focus is to maximize park presentation through efficiency and effectiveness of work while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Execute common tasks for grounds maintenance including: general cleaning, pressure washing, hosing down, sweeping, blow-pack blowing, and miscellaneous grounds maintenance.
  • Ensure proper training and compliance with department scheduling, time-keeping, small engine use, PPE, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Enforce all safety, park, and department policies at all times.
  • Responsible for team member compliance and development
  • Coordinate park cleaning schedule with other departments to satisfy work requests and minimize disruption of operation.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.


What it takes to succeed:

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years supervisory experience, grounds maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of pressure washing application and small engine use preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid drivers license

Availability:

  • This is a seasonal role
  • During the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
  • You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • The Sesame Place season runs from March 2026 through Labor Day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.
  • Hours my fluctuate based on business need; may be scheduled up to 40 hours weekly.

Compensation:

  • 19.50 per hour
