As part of our restaurant team, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming dining experience filled with laughter, great food, and exceptional service. Whether you're taking orders, serving up delicious meals, or making sure everything runs smoothly, you’ll be an important part of the Sesame Street magic! In this role, you will:

• Enthusiastically greet and welcome guests
• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring the needs of children and families are met.
• Knowledge of the restaurant's menu items and provide recommendations to guests; Provide information to guests on food & beverage products being offered.
• Take and input orders accurately and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables, verifying order accuracy.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and check IDs as required.
• Help maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
• Assist in restaurant cleanliness and table setup.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to create a smooth dining experience.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally.
• Contribute to a dynamic and fun work environment while upholding the highest standards of guest service.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Follow proper transaction procedures; Operate POS register.
• Prepare/carry vending trays.
• Working in the back of the house
• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 21 years old
• At least 6 months restaurant server experience preferred
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Ability to learn/use point of sale (cash register) systems
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand extensively
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to complete all required training, including ServSafe and RCS Responsible Vendor Training
• Flexibility in working varied shifts
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Food service and/or theme park experience highly desirable

Availability:

• This is a seasonal role
• The Sesame Place season runs from March 2026 through Labor Day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.
• During the non-peak season, must be available both Saturday & Sunday
• During the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
• You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Hours vary based on business need; may be scheduled 0-40 hours weekly

Compensation: 16.90 USD Hourly
