What you get to do:
Partner with internal stakeholders across the company to help identify and hire the best leaders to drive the company's growth. You will:

  • Assist in creating innovative search strategies that will identify and attract the best talent with a focus on local community outreach to include schools and organizations
  • Guides park leadership and department contacts through the employment process
  • Mentors, trains, develops, coaches and supports Recruiting Specialists and Recruiting Coordinators
  • Provides performance feedback to Manager for area team members
  • Facilitates and supports various aspects of the on-boarding process to include: background checks, new hire paperwork, orientations, and on the job training.
  • Supports the background check process for current & prospective team members.
  • Prepares reports for park leadership.
  • Set-up candidate video phone screens using our Modern Hire technology for Hiring Managers to review
  • Post to niche job boards, as needed
  • Coordinate and participate in external and internal job fairs
  • Assists in hiring full time, part time, seasonal, and salary positions.
  • Conduct telephone screens for skilled/professional positions
  • Answers questions regarding vacant positions and employment processes.
  • Determines the appropriate hiring process for various positions based upon multiple variables.
  • Ensures a legal and reputable employment process
  • Assist in on-boarding new hires during peak season
  • Main point of contact for recruitment marketing collateral
  • Prepares job postings and provides information regarding professional positions for recruitment sources and events.
  • Gathers personal information from prospective team members and screens applicants.
  • Provides interview questions from Structured Interview program, writes or approves technical questions for assigned positions.
  • Notifies applicants of hiring determination in verbal or written format.
  • Oversees inventory.
  • Prepares and develops strategic planning of recruitment sources and posts to sites.
  • Handles confidential information and materials.
  • Reviews department’s promotional process.
  • Gather and address results of employment contingencies.
  • Oversees and guides the centralized hiring process. Cross trains in all aspects of the Employment area and assists with core functions such as the front desk, centralized interviews, and onboarding process as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.

What it takes to succeed:

  • Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with social media networking or internet recruiting preferred
  • Experience recruiting for leisure, hospitality, or entertainment industry, preferred
  • Experience sourcing talent and driving applications preferred
  • Experience working in a fast paced / high volume environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems or resume databases, preferred
  • Availability to work occasional weekends, evening and holidays.

Compensation: 21.00 USD Hourly
