All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. What you get to do:
As a Park Quality Area Ambassador, you’ll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will:

• Interact with others in a positive, professional manner

• Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and quality of park facilities, including all park areas, and offices buildings

• Janitorial services to include trash removal/ disposal, sweeping, mopping, hosing, cobweb removal, storage room cleaning, dumpster cleaning, and hard floor/ carpet cleaning

• Park prep services to include pressure washing, leaf blowing/ removal/ disposal, product stocking, special projects, and placement/ removal of umbrellas, tables, trash cans, benches, urns, and dispensers

• Report any maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner

What else is important:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Ability to initiate conversations with guests

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift

• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)

• Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals

• Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards

• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and cold temperatures

• Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement. 

• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations

• Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs

• Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelines
   

Availability and Hours:

• This is a seasonal role
• The Sesame Place season runs from March 2026 through Labor Day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.
• All ambassadors must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include both weekend days during the peak season. You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minors (16-17 years old) - must have Saturday/Sunday unrestricted availability during the school year
• Hours may vary & you may be scheduled up to 40 hours based on business need

Compensation:

• 16.90 USD per hour
