About this role

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: providing donor communications and writing support for Seattle Children's organization-wide donor and philanthropic initiatives. Working in partnership with development staff and internal teams, this role supports projects that engage a variety of audiences and communication channels. With guidance, responsibilities may include developing, coordinating, and implementing donor communications related to fundraising initiatives, stewardship efforts, and impact reporting. Additional duties include creating content for newsletters, digital communications, presentations, and donor materials; assisting with the production and distribution of internal and external philanthropic publications and collateral; and supporting updates to donor-related content on Seattle Children's internal and external websites.

  

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a marketing and/or communications role.

N/A.

Preferred
Experience writing for print and online channels (e.g., newsletters; flyers; brochures; websites; blogs; etc.). Experience with Associated Press style and adherence to editorial and graphic standards. Some experience with photography and/or image editing software (e.g., PhotoShop). Some experience with web content management systems/HTML. Experience developing messaging for audiences with diverse backgrounds.

Compensation Range

$73,378.00 - $110,066.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
