Role OverviewThe Oral and Dental Surgeon will provide specialized surgical care for patients with a variety of oral health conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to medical guidelines, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to diagnose oral health issues
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for surgical procedures
- Perform a range of surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, and corrective jaw surgeries
- Manage postoperative care and ensure proper recovery of patients
- Educate patients on treatment options, surgical procedures, and preventive care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements in all aspects of patient care
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialization in Oral Surgery
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the UAE (Ministry of Health and Prevention)
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical surgical setting
- Expertise in performing a wide range of oral surgical procedures
- Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse healthcare environment
