About our group:
Join our dynamic Materials Department, where we play a pivotal role in shaping the Raw Materials Components from the Media Demand Plan in supporting the Master Schedule (MS) of our drives. We are tasked with converting the Media Demand into Raw Materials Components by products, thereby crafting the crucial Raw Materials Requirement. This plan is integral to our buyers' ability to synchronize the Raw Materials Requirements, considering yield rates, machine/tooling etc to support the Media Factory loading.
About the role - you will:
As a Material Planning Intern, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations and enhancing operational efficiency. Your contributions will be key to ensuring that our production processes and scheduling efficiency are not just maintained but improved in light of changing system demands and material requirements. Specifically, you will look into projects driving enhancements in Raw Material Planning spreadsheets/files translating from the Media demands. You will embark on three exciting projects designed to enhance our operational efficiency and align with our strategic objectives: Understand the current material planning by commodity and explore further enhancement to the current excel sheets. Review current Materials SAP reports and work with buyers for further enhancement.
About you:
We're on the lookout for someone who is: Numerically proficient with strong analytical skills. Keen interest in understanding, translating complex data into compelling insights and communicate these insights effectively. A great team player who thrives in collaborative environments. Able to communicate effectively and work efficiently with various teams. Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, and proficient in various Microsoft applications.
Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business analytics or any relevant fields Creating advanced Microsoft Excel templates, including linked files, formulas, criteria setting, pivot tables, and V-lookups. Developing tables and charts in Microsoft Excel. Designing workflows in PowerPoint and possessing strong presentation skills.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
