The EDE is a fully integrated equipment development team; we design and develop precision and fully automated assembly equipment and vision inspection machines. The team is made up of a strongly cohesive high performing team of design talents with a diversity of talents specialized in mechanical, embedded systems, electrical, software, and vision disciplines.

About the role - you will:

• To assist in designing and developing machine learning dashboards, tailored for equipment development as in image & video AI analytics and Large Language Model Chatbot.
• Perform fine tuning and optimization for performance scalability, and reliability within the equipment development domain. 

About you:

• Self-motivated and process strong learning towards new technology and skillsets 
• A positive mindset with a can-do attitude to challenge the impossible
• Good organizational and time management skills 
• Able to effectively work independently.  
• Able to commit full internship from May to Dec

Your experience includes:

• Currently pursuring Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science, Computing in Artificial Intelligence or other similar / equivalent engineering background.
• Knowledge in Python, Web design, Pytorch library, and/or other machine learning framework. 
• Self-motivated, independent, and team player with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in data science and AI technology through past projects is an advandage. 
• Preliminary skillset in image processing, graphics programming, as well as being excited about employing leading AI tools from GenAI, SNN, CNN, ResNet, YOLO, LLM, and Agentic AI are welcomed.
• Interest in transforming data science prototypes into production-ready solutions.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work. Here at work, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at our onsite canteen and coffee shop. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions.
