About this role

Description

  • Assembling and fabricating components by accurately following detailed technical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications
  • Utilizing hand and power tools, along with precision measuring instruments, to construct and install parts ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Conducting routine inspections and quality checks to verify that fabricated products meet defined tolerances and operational requirements
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with DoD and industry safety protocols
  • Documenting production activities and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall fabrication efficiency and product quality

Requirements

  • Three plus years experience in assemblers or fabricator role
  • One plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to accurately fabricate and assemble components according to specified tolerances and quality standards
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly processes while adhering to established DoD guidelines
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and basic inspection techniques to verify dimensional accuracy and functional integrity of fabricated components
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other inventory tracking software to support efficient production operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly issues, contributing to continuous process improvement

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
