Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
Additional $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m. -- 6 a.m.
Shift: 1st - A Crew (Sunday through every other Wednesday)
Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement!
 
What You Will Do:
  • Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment to receive, store, and transport palletized products in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Efficiently pick and stage pallets from storage racks to designated Forward Pick (FWP) areas to support timely trailer loading and distribution.
  • Maintain smooth product flow by ensuring all material movements are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Perform regular equipment checks, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors to minimize downtime.
  • Support inventory control by assisting with periodic counts and maintaining organized storage areas following Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).
What You Will Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 0 to 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to operate clean-up brooms, plastic compactors, forklifts, and carts.
  • Ability to gain and maintain required forklift certification, license and/or satisfactory completion of cart driver training.
  • Ability to key product/move data into terminals daily and work in cold/freezing temperatures of 30 degrees.
  • Ability to understand/use WMS (Warehouse Management System) and eventually understand/utilize SAP (Systems Applications Products in Data Processing).

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Years of Related Experience: 0-1 year of related experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 18 Years of age. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, shortcorrespondence, and memos. Ability to read written documentation containing schedule moves, printout, computerscreens, store tickets for accurate product movement. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one andsmall group situations to co-workers, including Supervisors/Managers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and dividein all units of measure using whole numbers. Ability to operate clean-up broom, plastic compactor, forklifts andcarts. Ability to gain and maintain required forklift certification and license and satisfactory completion of cartdriver training. Ability to key product/move data into terminals on a daily basis. Ability to work in cold/freezingtemperatures of 30 degrees. Ability to understand/use WMS (Warehouse Management System); and eventuallyunderstand/utilize SAP (Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing). Ability to apply commonsenseunderstanding to carry out detailed instructions. Facts, work orders or other data are specific and immediately available, usable, and point directly to the problem.
