Global System Engineer
Global Systems Engineer Off-Road Applications Vehicle Lifetime Solutions (m/w/d)
Location(s): Schaeffler India Ltd., Hosur
Your Key Responsibilities
• Observation and analysis of international Off-Road vehicles markets (focus on tractors & agricultural machinery) and competition to identify product groups of potential which can be newly added to the VLS Off-Road product portfolio
•Search for and purchasing of sample parts from suppliers, OEMs and competitors
•Research of part-to-vehicle data and its application in the product design & validation
•Definition and alignment of technical product specifications together with central VLS & Schaeffler Engineering and suppliers as well as modification and application of standards to Off-Road applications and products
•Check, modification and application of design verification plans leading to validation activities and benchmarking as well as their subsequent result interpretation. Derivation of relevant follow-up measures.
•Specification of product release and responsibility to realize it along the activities mentioned above
•First level quality claim evaluation for Off-Road products
•Initiation of, collaboration in and leadership of strategic projects, e.g. definition and introduction of new products
•Global cross-sectional coordination and management of central and regional functions within the scope of the above activities
•Communication with all internally related interfaces within the Schaeffler Group as well as externally with service providers and suppliers

- The Product Manager will observe and analyze international Off-Road vehicle markets to identify potential product groups for the VLS Off-Road product portfolio. Responsibilities include defining technical product specifications, leading validation activities, and managing cross-sectional coordination within the Schaeffler Group.
