About this role
The role is Founding Backend Engineer based in Stockholm, offering $80k-$120k plus equity as part of the first 10 hires forming the founding team. There are no predefined tasks; obsession and agency drive ownership, so the role involves tackling the biggest problems at any given moment, whether a database migration or context engineering as priorities shift. The candidate would collaborate closely with other founding engineers across full stack, backend, ML and frontend, as well as the co-founders Melvin Hagberg and Elis Hodzic. Current priorities include building LLM flows (context engineering, prompts, tools) and strengthening infra (GCP migration, scalability, performance). This position requires thriving in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where work evolves to meet the team’s evolving problems.
