As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Marketing and Proposal Specialist to the Scandi Family!

This is a Remote Position, hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What your day to day will look like:

You will be reporting into the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships.

  • Create and implement marketing plans and initiatives aimed at increasing brand recognition, customer interaction, and lead generation
  • Perform updates to company website as required, ensuring all information is up to date, visually appealing and in line with Scandinavian’s brand standards
  • Create and coordinate company all company marketing and promotional materials, including those for other departments as required
  • Maintain and execute all marketing and sponsorship opportunities with existing and potential clients
  • Social Media-· Plan, create, and share new content as required, that builds meaningful customer connections and increases brand awareness
  • Coordinate with the third-party social media vendor to ensure that the organization’s social media presence is on brand and in-line with organizational strategy
  • Communicate with online followers as required, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring customer reviews
  • Prepare all proposals documents, ensuring a consistent, grammatically correct, visually appealing document
  • Use AI tools to generate first-draft proposal content, including executive summaries, project descriptions, and boilerplate sections, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational messaging
  • Leverage AI platforms to analyze RFP documents, extract key requirements, and support compliance tracking.
  • Apply AI-assisted editing tools to improve clarity, grammar, tone, and consistency across proposal document


What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing and/or communications experience
  • Post secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience using AI-powered writing, research, or content-generation tools to support proposal development, marketing content, and document preparation
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with organizational voice and brand standards
  • Strong understanding of prompt-crafting techniques to efficiently guide AI tools in producing high-quality drafts, summaries, and visual concepts
  • Ability to work well within a cross-functional team environment and diverse communities
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate tenacity while striving for continuous improvement
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Work independently with minimal oversight


Our interview process:

  • 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
  • 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
