Role Overview
The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content across the lodge’s social media and digital platforms. This execution-focused role centers on producing short-form video and visual content that showcases the lodge experience, supports marketing efforts, and aligns with seasonal priorities. The role does not own paid advertising or revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution
Produce short-form video and visual content highlighting the lodge experience, amenities, and surroundings
Edit and optimize content for platform-native formats, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook posts
Write clear, engaging captions aligned with brand voice and guest expectations
Prepare content for use across social media and website placements
Content Planning & Consistency
Maintain a structured content calendar aligned with peak-season promotions and off-season visibility
Ensure consistent posting during high-impact marketing periods
Adapt content output based on seasonal priorities and campaign needs
Collaboration & Brand Alignment
Work closely with leadership to align content themes with business goals
Follow brand guidelines while contributing creative input on formats and presentation
Ensure content remains authentic, polished, and aligned with the lodge’s positioning
Qualifications
Experience
Proven experience creating content for social media platforms
Hands-on experience with short-form video and visual storytelling
Skills
Proficiency with video editing and content creation tools
Strong written communication skills for captions and descriptions
Ability to manage multiple content pieces while meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability
Ability to work independently while maintaining brand consistency
