The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 112,320.00 USD - 147,420.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Manager, Customer Development – Special Packs, you’ll be at the center of one of the most dynamic parts of our business. Think of this role as the strategic heartbeat between headquarters and the field—where big-picture thinking meets real-world execution.

You’ll serve as both the “voice of the customer” to HQ and the “voice of HQ” across the sales organization, influencing decisions that shape our go‑to‑market success. From sales planning and trade strategy to customer marketing and cross‑functional collaboration, you’ll have your fingerprints on nearly every stage of the commercialization process.

This is a hands-on, high‑visibility role within a fast‑growing part of the organization—perfect for someone who thrives in environments where entrepreneurship, initiative, and a high energy level unlock real impact. You’ll work closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and beyond, giving you broad exposure and the chance to help shape how we win in the market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with cross-functional and field teams on execution of the annual Special Packs business plan to include:

  • Collaborating with Strategic Planning & Portfolio, Insights, Marketing, Creative Studio, and other cross-functional partners on all aspects of special pack development

  • Leading the development and tracking of all national and customer specific offerings

  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to support financial analysis and look for both efficiency and cost savings opportunities

  • Working with internal partners and third-party design firms to facilitate all artwork as it relates to selling units, trays, pallet design and any Marketing support materials

  • Managing the interface between field sales, demand planning, and cross functional partners in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.

  • Owning customer-level tracking Special Pack executions as it relates to forecasting trends & annual business plan volumes.

  • Creating our price pack architecture and channel strategy to define future Special Pack offerings

Partner with the Strategic Planning & Portfolio team to craft medium and long-term strategies to achieve the brand’s objectives. This will include:

  • Working with the field sales teams to develop the strategies and plans necessary to meet the organization's growth deliverables.

  • Representing Sales in the annual financial planning process to determine how much and where we will grow, and resources needed.

  • Creating strategies for go-to-market approach and channel development while contributing to the long-term innovation pipeline

  • Representing Sales within new product development and commercialization teams and processes, driving visibility to customer requirements and sell-in needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ work experience within the consumer products goods space and at least 1+ year experience in Customer Development, Customer Marketing, Sales, or Sales Planning

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Selling and/or Customer Development experience with customer-facing experience across multiple channels and categories

  • Strong analytical experience, interpreting and analyzing data (Nielsen/IRI)

  • Experience managing displays and/or special pack executions

  • Excellent effective communication / collaboration, presentation skills and a colorful storyteller

  • Fast paced, entrepreneurial thinker, multi-tasker with cross functional project management capabilities

  • Curious and analytical mindset; ability to independently assess data, integrate into selling stories and leverage it to grow our business

  • Being a team player that’s comfortable with ambiguity and deadline pressures.

  • Ability to work independently to identify business needs and opportunities to help grow sales

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday 

  • Office work environment: San Francisco, CA office

  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period

  • Travel requirement: 10%

  • Domestic relocation assistance is not available for this position
