Role Purpose
This position plays a major strategic role in the Sales function and is responsible for creating new account growth opportunities in the near to long-term across all channels for Consumer Sales and developing key sales strategies & actions plans for achievement of annual targets.
Role Accountability
Business Management
- Identify prospective co brand Banca partners across geography to increase card sourcing opportunities & maximize coverage
- Design & drive execution of go-to-market plans for new/existing cobrand products by recommending and deploying initiatives for incremental sales, leveraging analytics to monitor ROI of promotions and portfolio metrics
- Forge new cobrand Banca partnerships with online & offline space across geography for new card issuance growth
- Plan & grow existing Banking cobrand & SBI relationship by identifying new opportunities & new sourcing models
- Negotiate commercials, contract renewals, payouts & incentives with the banking partners to ensure profitable growth & scale
- Drive adherence to regulatory compliances and participate in internal audits
- Be abreast with the latest technological and regulatory development on network dynamics on issuance, acquiring and authorizations and suggest innovative ideas to reduce operational efforts/optimize processes
- Undertake initiatives to reduce the cost of value proposition by increasing efficiency
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business models and prepare customized proposals in collaboration with Business Teams
- Negotiate commercials, customer value proposition & partner contribution into the program for onboarding as well as renewals, payouts, incentives, etc.
- Plan and execute sales contests for partners & their employees to increase new accounts and create collaboration opportunities between Banking partner organization and SBI Card alliances team to explore winning spend programs
Sales Planning & Analytics
- Develop sales plans, budgets & headcount requirements and forecast sales volumes for regions & zones for Consumer Sales
- Analytics for demographic & behavioural understanding of customer profiles, portfolio trends & insights to drive improvement interventions in the business
- Drive implementation & adoption of technology, platforms & new processes in the sales teams.
- Publish customized Dashboard and Review Presentations basis requirement
- Along with Function Head, Front End Review meets with Senior Management of SBI and SBI Card
Conceptualize & Drive Program Management
- Work closely with key functions like Risk, Marketing, IT and Ops to deliver various prog. for New Acquisition
- Lead Wing to wing planning and implementation with inter functional project management teams pertaining to Project Sankarma, Pratham & similar projects
- Build a strong review and monitoring mechanism for all programs and processes
- Conceptualize and Execute a Paperless and Presence less Model for cross selling within SBI and other Partners
- Ensure timely data flow for Pre-Approved programs under various Projects
- Regular Interaction with Senior Management of SBI and other Partners
- Conceptualize, Plan & Coordinate on High impact IT projects related to all New Acquisitions.
- Plan & support in driving E-Apply/Sprint journeys across various sales channels
Strategic Projects
- Conceptualize Design and Executive key process which will enhance efficiency and effectiveness of Sales team productivity and reduce cost. Wing to Wing Application throughput management
- Work closely with Regional Heads & Vertical Leads to develop and implement seamless Lead Generation to Fulfillment process across all locations for all Projects
- Drive Wing to Wing -YONO & other Digital Platform integration.
- Setup an SBI correspondence and complaints redressal desk for smooth functioning
- Drive Digitization within Consumer Sales Channel
- Ensure Sales Compliance adherence .
- Work on improving Portfolio with Function Head & Vertical Leads for Lower Delinquency, Higher Activation rate and reducing attrition.
SBI Billing & Sales Cost Management
- Wing to Wing processing of Billing / Payment / Tax for SBI & other partners. Budgeting and Cost Management initiatives
- Ensure R&R calculation and Payout to Partners in timely basis
- Cost management for Channel
SBI Connect and Sales Support
- Design, plan and execute various programs under “SBI Connect" with the objective to drive visibility within SBI & all other partners
- Design and drive effective R&R program with SBI & all other Partners
- Regular updates and closure through payouts.
- Ensure timely resolution of Critical requirement from Sales leads and partners
Wing to Wing Audit for Consumer Sales- RBI, CAG, and Internal Audits
- Give walkthrough of Sales Channel to Auditors.
- Provide Auditors necessary information / data within timelines.
- Resolve all queries of auditors within timelines.
- Submit response to auditors’ queries within timelines.
- Ensure smooth field audit
- Track and Submit update to ATR’s
- Overall ensure smooth audit for channel and positive report out by the auditors.
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Build a strong professional relationship and operating rhythm with stakeholders by providing them support in their requirement and communicate channel needs clearly and in a transparent manner
- Support stakeholders to help channel in an effective manner
Account Optimization
- Steer the development & implementation of technology-based solutions that increase application flow (throughput), reduce post-processing declines and ensure higher productivity along with cross functional teams
- Monitor end-to-end application lifecycle processes & policies, identify opportunities for increase in app to account conversion rate, work with Risk, Operations, Fraud control, BE, IT & Sales function to improve application approval rate to generate higher new accounts, lower CoA & better customer experience
- Drive increase in productivity via In depth analysis of each Sales processing leg, monitor application to account conversion rate, priority execution of customer escalations and related investigations w.r.t sales processing legs
- Study & analyse the quality of incoming applications, identify issues and work with the sales team for improvement; responsible for all completeness, accuracy checks and error free testing of application workflow changes
- Monitor & drive important business metrics like RTB, E-photo, E-mail penetration, E-KYC/C-KYC, Digital etc
- Train sales force on any process/policy/regulatory guideline changes
NFTE lifecycle management & Branch Relationship Program for Banca for Sales
- Design programs and journey in consultation with Sales team. E.g.: NFTE Life cycle enhancement, Sales Newsletter, www.sbicardconnect.com etc. and get Legal, Compliance and Infosec approvals on the journey
- Design & Execute entire NFTE RnR program for PAN India locations
- Driving various NFTE retention programs along with the field Sales team
- Designing & Driving various NFTE Wellness modules for the Sales function
- On BRM Program - Oversee and ensure that all contracts, payments documentation and support systems are in place for all relationships which as per SLA for all local marketing Tie-ups
- Keep robust controls on various inter departmental activities that will lead to process improvement & help in delivering the business through the programs and projects in scope
- Design, manage and update on budget utilization, Mapping CBA, Reporting outputs of all activities related to Initiatives, projects in Scope
Manage Pan India Fulfillment for the Banca Sales Channel
- Drive Fulfilment Operations for Anytime Channel
Lead Generation- Maximize Lead Conversion from different Programs - Tele Calling Unit & Contact Center
- Oversee & manage Tele Calling Center by conversion of Warms leads into applications and ensure effective COA
