Job Description/Responsibilities
The Supply Planning Manager – Internal Production ensures consistent product availability across Sazerac’s internal manufacturing network to meet OTIF and customer service targets.
This role develops the master supply plan and leads rough-cut capacity planning across internal production sites, proactively resolving constraints before they impact service. The manager drives alignment to a common Sazerac planning culture, standardizing processes across all plants to enable seamless execution, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain master supply plans that align with demand, capacity, and inventory targets across internal sites.
- Lead rough-cut capacity planning to proactively identify and resolve production constraints.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics to optimize production schedules and reduce total landed cost.
- Drive operational excellence through adherence to planning cadence and visibility to performance metrics.
- Execute cost savings initiatives including freight optimization, inventory reduction, and process efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement in planning accuracy, data integrity, and scheduling discipline. Ensure world-class customer service by maintaining high service levels and minimizing finished goods out-of-stocks.
- Foster a strong planning culture that emphasizes accountability, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Align internal production capabilities with annual growth plans and new product introductions.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (supply chain, business, engineering, or related field)
Solid experience in supply planning, manufacturing, or operations
Experience in internal plant planning or production scheduling
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and supply planning tools
- Ability to travel (up to 25%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI or other data‑visualization tools.
- Familiarity with lean, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
