In Tax Reporting Team at Saxo, we are responsible for preparing and submitting comprehensive tax reports to various authorities. It involves meticulous scrutiny of client, instrument, trade and financial data to assure the accuracy and completeness of tax filings; coordinating with internal departments (SME and developers) to gather necessary documentation and information for the testing of the software developed by the developers as per the specifications provided by SMEs; using specialized tax software to streamline the reporting process and enhance accuracy.
As our new QA Resource, your tasks will be related to Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data utilized in tax reports.
You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to test the developed software as per the required specification for submission of tax reports on time with accuracy.
Responsibilities
•Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and any identified issues.
•Ability to execute complex tasks with high quality and minimal handholding
•Capability of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms
•Ability to conduct testing and communicate well across functions and geographies
Your profile
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester to join our Tax Reporting team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and functionality of tax reporting systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing financial systems, an eye for detail to identify discrepancies in financial data and reporting outputs and a passion for ensuring high-quality software solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.
Must have:
•2-4 Years’ experience in test complex software
•Hands on experience in Test Design, Execution, Defect retesting and test documentation
•Fair knowledge and hands-on to SQL (joins, aggregate and other data mining functions)
It will be an advantage if you have knowledge or hands-on experience within some of the following areas:
•Knowledge of Derivatives
•Hands-on experience on API testing tools, web service Testing would be added advantage
