The Basics

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

What you’ll be doing:

You will control, analyze, and report financial transactions and performance.  Duties include overseeing reconciliation of account balances, treasury management, and month-end close procedures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cash Management & Reconciliation
  • Short term cash forecasting
  • Support ABL compliance and review ineligibles for improvement opportunities
  • Support Credit processes in peak periods
  • Consolidation and elimination adjustments
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls
  • Ensure reconciliations and reviews are performed timely company-wide
  • Assist in year-end audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and working with auditors
  • Responsible for routine variance analysis
  • Backup for Broker reconciliation role
  • Process improvement
  • Month-end close entries
  • Projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (MAcc or MBA a plus)
  • At least 2 years accounting experience
  • Experience with grain or other commodity companies a plus
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with teams across multiple locations and countries
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very high moral values and professional work ethic
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Analytical problem solver

  • This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and oral operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies, and memos, and to communicate clearly with your co-workers and supervisors
