The SAS Managed Cloud Global Enablement and Sales Support team is looking for a Systems Engineer intern to support and drive the continued profitable revenue growth from SAS Managed Cloud.  In this role, you will apply expertise in technical architecture, vision creation, best practices, and overall technical knowledge to guide and support sales and business development towards successful outcomes.  

  

As an intern, you might:  

  • Work on enablement collateral, such as documentation and presentations

  • Work on web programming projects to assist with business reporting

  • Work with sales staff on sales opportunities to gather technical requirements and craft appropriate cloud architectures to meet customer requirements and use cases.

  • Assist in the response to RFI/RFPs by researching and crafting thorough and complete answers 

Required Qualifications  

  • Degree Type: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD
  • Targeted majors: Computer Science, engineering, math
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026. 
  • Additional required skills/qualifications:
    • Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Cloud concepts (AWS, Google's Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure)
    • Fantastic Communicator and able to articulate technical concepts to a wide array of audiences
    • General knowledge of software, network, and database architecture
    • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 
    • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty. 
    • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.  

Preferred Qualifications   

  • Cloud technologies such as Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

  • Hosting hardware and networking concepts

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant’s year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master’s/Ph.D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
