Maintenance Mechanic

Summary: This position performs limited preventative and breakdown maintenance on equipment and machinery assigned by group leader or supervisor. Responsibilities include; Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance on plant operating equipment such as conveyors, packaging equipment, slicers, pumps, loaders, and injectors; respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve complex operating equipment failures; Provide immediate and long-term corrective action to complex operating equipment failures utilizing root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques; Utilize advanced maintenance techniques and equipment to assess the health of operating equipment and predict failures before they occur such as thermos graphic and vibration analysis; Repair and modification of plant operating equipment with precision maintenance techniques as necessary; Repair and rebuild complex operating equipment; and perform all duties in accordance with safety regulations. Candidate must be able to use schematics and blueprints during routine troubleshooting. 

All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age. Must be willing to work all shifts and work variable shifts, weekends, and/or holidays. One must have at least two years of manufacturing experience. A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience and a working knowledge of industrial electricity and controls to include PLCs, MCCs, and variable frequency drives, etc. One must have basic TIG welding experience. Candidate must individually be willing to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly throughout a shift and must be able to complete required forms. Candidate will be trained in Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities for safe operation. One must have the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations in the American and Metric systems.
